By Miyuki the Phoenix Kunoichi
Disclaimer: I don't own Ouran High School Host Club, Bisco Hatori does. My partners-in-crime and I all own any OC's that appear in this story. The only OC I have no claim to is Angel Kyoto who my sister created. So no stealing our OC's without our permission. And I don't own Roses and Butterflies by Making April. I suggest you listen to it. There's a reason I choose it as my title. lol
Prologue: Haruhi has a secret
**Haruhi's POV**
Once upon a time in a far away land... Oh who am I kidding? This isn't far away and this is in no means a fairytale. I will leave the daydreaming to Tamaki-senpai. My name is Haruhi Fujioka and I go to Ouran High School for the rich and beautiful, at least according to Tamaki-senpai that is. If you ask me that's a load of bull. But, then again I'm only a commoner, an outsider to this school, damn rich bastards. I got in on a scholarship that I worked my butt off for and all in the name of my dream to become a lawyer. But, somehow, in the mix of things, on my first day of school I ended up breaking an eight million yen vase belonging to the host club. Now, to pay off my debt I must work as a host to girls and conceal my gender to the school. It's not all bad though. I enjoy myself and I've made a lot of friends. I would never say that out loud though, Hikaru and Kaoru, the resident 'brotherly love' twins of the Host Club would never let me live it down. Speaking of Hikaru and Kaoru. I need to pay attention to my guests.
**end Haruhi's POV**
"Haruhi-kun, can you please tell us how you can tell apart Hikaru-kun and Kaoru-kun. I just can tell them apart they're too similar," One of Haruhi's guests asked her.
"It's not that hard. I guess it just comes naturally for me," Haruhi replied with a thoughtful look on her face. "Don't feel too bad princess. There's a reason I can tell them apart so easily."
"Really, Haruhi-kun?"
"Yes. Maybe I'll tell you one day, but for now, it's not my place to tell."
"I understand. Haruhi-kun," the girl said downcast.
Haruhi smiled her 'natural host' smile at the girl. "Cheer up. A princess as beautiful as you shouldn't look so downcast."
Screams of "MOE" sounded throughout the third music room.
"Are you guys sure you want to come with me to Ouran? You have a life here. Just because I"m missing my Onee-chan doesn't mean that you have to come with me," a brunette girl said to her friends.
Her friends chuckled at her attempt to make sure that they weren't making a mistake. They would never leave her high and dry. They cared too much for her to let her uproot herself with out them going along for the ride. If it wasn't for her they wouldn't be where they were today. She saved them from their loneliness and in turn they were completely loyal to her as friends.
"Believe us when we say we want to come with you. Besides, Ouran will help us meet our goals just as well as the school we are going too now. Maybe even more with the strict scholarship requirements of Ouran. Besides, your not the only one missing her sibling," a Black-haired girl said.
"That's right Mi-Chan. Did you forget that Neko-chan goes to Ouran too," a little blonde girl asked excitedly. "A-Chan never gets to see her brother and this is a chance for her to."
"Alright, Alright. I get it. I'm being a baka. I just wanted to make sure," the brunette said, laughing.
The black-haired girl laughed and pumped her fist in the air, "Ouran better watch out cause here we come!"
