Beastboy stormed into the base with a need to vent. "Wing I hate her M'gann, she is the worst person ever…Nightwing"
Nightwing was lost in thought.
Richard …Orphan… Sad…
Dick …. Happy….Ward…
Robin …The Boy Wonder… Disappointment…
Nightwing … Golden Boy… Mistake
Son… Backstabber… Friend…
Traitor… Teammate… Cruel… Leader…. Brother
"Oh sorry Gar" Nightwing who hadn't heard the young green boy gave him an apologetic look.
"M'gann promised she would help me with some school work and then we were going to hang out and she left to help stupid Connor with something. She's always with him now that their back together and she's never with me. I hate it, I hate her." The young superhero grumbled.
Dick gave Gar a serious look. "I've been called a lot of things in my day gar and some of the most hurtful things I've ever heard cam from my family. So be carful what you say causes I know you can't mean that." Dick might not remember exactly what was said but he will always remember how it made him feel; whether it was good, or bad. Nightwing looked at his young green friend as he sat beside him quietly.
Gar looked up at robin with tears in his eyes. " But its true, Wing I hate her she always leaving me behind. She said we were a family that it was us for forever… she lie." Beastboy look solemnly at his lap and whispered, "…Why does she keep leaving me…"
"Beastboy you don't really hate M'gann. She's your sister and no matter what she does or what you say you guys are always going to love each other." Nightwing gave the smaller boy a little shoulder bump.
"Why…?"
"Because you're her family and we're willing to forgive a heck of a lot for family. She'll come back, I promise." If only reuniting the brokenness that is my family was this easy. "Here I'll help you with your school work and then we can order in some pizza and watch some movies, that sound good."
"Yeah that sounds good." Garfield said giving Nightwing a toothy grin as they both moved to the base kitchen where Gar left his schoolbooks. "Hey Nightwing…"
Nightwing turned around at look at Gar. "Yeah...?"
Beastboy looked at the ground blushing a little. "Thanks."
Dick gave the shape shifter a hundred watt smile "Anytime."
