"Look, Danno," Grace Williams told her father, Danny, "I made Bullet a sweater."

Danny looked at the dog, who looked back with a long-suffering gaze. Danny tried hard not to laugh. He would never, ever make fun of one of Grace's creations, no matter how bad.

It was pretty bad. The sweater rode high up on the German Shepherd's neck and would probably be choking him if the yarn wasn't so giving. It fell far short on length, and just barely covered his back. The belly band holding it on, however, hung loosely below Bullet's stomach.

"Maybe you should measure him next time," was all Danny could think to say.

"I did! Uncle Steve helped me and everything! And you know how precise he is!"

Danny did. If his partner, Steve McGarrett, helped, the measurements were sure to be accurate. "Did you measure the sweater?"

"I tried, but it was hard. It's so stretchy, and if I make sure it's not stretched, it bunches up. It's not very good, is it?"

"No, monkey, it's great," Danny hastened to reassure his daughter. Bullet just looked at him, as if to say "You have got to be kidding." Danny patted him on the head. "But maybe you should stick to scarves."
