Luna was different
She was not the type of girl he usually went for.
She had the blonde hair and blue eyes, true but she was so real. She was not afraid to be who she was. She was mocked and taunted throughout the school for her strange personality and imaginary creatures that she always talked about. No one could understand her most of the time as she spoke in riddles.
She was a Ravenclaw and had intelligence that no one he usually went out with had.
He usually looked for the pretty girls with who were shallow. They would just be by his side to make him look good. The girls he usually dated usually gossiped a lot and he knew they only dated him because of his looks.
Luna was different.
Luna was eccentric and cheerful no matter what. It seemed like nothing would ever get her down.
He had tried for months to convince himself otherwise but once he had seen her, he was gone.
He was a Gryffindor. He was supposed to be brave but he was not.
He knew he was one of the most arrogant Gryffindors in Hogwarts but all that arrogance was lost when he faced Luna.
Luna fascinated him and had not turned him down.
