AN: This won't make much sense to those who haven't played 358/2 Days yet. The ice cream stick does happen in the game, and he does resolve to ask Axel what he won. I can only wish this is what actually happened. *tear* Oh. RTC means "Return To the Castle." Just so y'all know.

I finished the last of my sea salt ice cream alone, for the second day in a row.

When is Axel getting back? I thought to myself. He had been gone for three days now and I was beginning to miss him. He's my first and only friend in the Organization.

"I hope he wasn't one of the people terminated at Castle Oblivion…" I said aloud.

I looked at my empty ice cream stick to see "WINNER" printed across it.

"I wonder what I won," I said aloud again, "I'll ask Axel when he gets back."

I got up and walked off the clock tower and to the darkness portal to RTC. Once I returned, I went straight to my room and went to bed.

I slowly awoke the next morning and went into the glass room to see what my mission for today was. Just as I walked in, I ran into someone. I couldn't tell who it was because their hood was up.

"Oh. Excuse me," I whispered as I began to push past them.

"Aww, come on Roxas! You've gotta be tougher than that by now!" said an all too familiar voice.

"Axel?!" I said excitedly.

"The one and only," he replied, pulling off his hood. "Wanna go to the clock tower?"

"But I haven't even done a mission yet," I said quizzically.

"I know, but those can wait. Come on, we'll sneak out," he said, looking around to make sure no one saw us.

He created a portal in the hallway and pushed me in first. He followed swiftly after me and closed the portal behind him. We arrived shortly in Twilight Town and bought some ice cream. We then made our way up the clock tower and sat down with our frozen treats like usual. After both of us finished our ice cream, Axel turned to me and smiled. He turned back forward and snapped his stick in half and threw it off the clock tower.

"Oh!" I nearly shouted in remembrance. I pulled out my stick from yesterday and handed it to Axel.

"What do you want me to do with this?" he asked me, turning the stick in his hand until he saw the printed "WINNER."

"What did I win?" I asked him.

He chuckled quietly and turned to me. He scooted closer and looked me straight in the eyes.

"This is what you win," he said as he leaned close to my face and placed his lips on mine.

With no response, he pulled away. I just stared at him.

"What was that?" I asked, tilting my head to the side.

"It's called…a kiss, Roxas," Axel explained to me, "You give someone one when you like them. A lot."

"Oh. So you like me?" I asked.

"Yes. Do you like me too?" he asked me with pleading eyes.

"Umm…I think so. I mean, I really missed you while you were gone, and--" I was cut off sharply by Axel…kissing me again.

He opened his mouth and I obediently followed. His tongue shot into my mouth as he hoisted me onto his lap. I locked my arms around his neck and pulled him closer. I felt a tugging in my chest and I pulled away to breath. He stared at me a little longer before releasing me and setting me back on the ledge next to him.

"That was…very nice. I think I like kissing," I said grinning brightly.

"I'm glad," Axel said, "Maybe we can do that more in the future."

I nodded in agreement and he laughed happily. We both stood up to leave and he pulled me in close again for another kiss. This one was much shorter and not as…wet. We made our way back down the clock tower and as we walked into the portal to RTC, his gloved hand grabbed mine and held on tight. All I could do was smile.
