This is something I wrote, well, just because I was in the mood to write and felt inspired. I know it's short, but I plan to add more chapters because I like where the storyline is going. Advice is welcomed especially because I wrote this with no plot planned out yet :D. Anything I write comes from my heart and therefore it may not be the most well thought out piece of writing, but I try! Please read and review. -Rosie

His eyes betrayed the inner hunger he felt inside of his soul for her, the hunger not just for her blood, but also for her heart. This emotion he had not felt for a hundred years, made him do things against his conscious mind; thing he would have never thought of doing in his lifetime. Edward believed he would be a cold-hearted monster alone forever. Yet, she defrosted his heart, chipped away at the ice until a faint heartbeat erupted in his chest. The feeling was empowering, changing his life forever. From that moment on, he knew, that she was the only one, and he would never leave her.

His new awoken heart had a mind of its own, a mouth of its own, a touch of its own; it was in utter control of his body. Enabling the words, "I love you," to whisper out of his lips, loud enough for her petty human ears to hear the confession. Edward nuzzled his face into her neck, kissing her long delicate throat feverantly with his cold hard lips. His careful touches were almost unbearable for his body to tolerate. The gentle way he had to treat her fragile body was tortuous to the way he wanted to kiss her, to touch her, to show his love for her.

"I love you too," She gasped, falling into his strong arms with no fear. No fear of the life she was getting into, no fear of her beauty, no fear of the animal he was. Bella knew that Edward would always be there to catch her, literally and figuratively.

He may see himself as the villain that every young girl hides from in those scary movies, but to Bella, he was her hero. No one could make her feel the way Edward made her feel. Every time his hands caressed her skin, every time sound escaped his beautiful lips, every time she looked into his eyes, she felt his love for her. She wanted that love for the rest of her life, in fact forever. An eternity with her Edward would not even be enough to quench her thirst.

His strong arms supported her body and held her to his chest. "Listen to my heart, it only beats for you. I will only love you, forever and always. My beautiful, lovely, lam." With those words, he placed her on the soft grass that covered the meadow. His cold hard lips found her soft pink ones. Fire and ice had always been a deadly combination, but the recipe seemed to work in this case. The lion fell in love with the lam, fire danced with ice and their souls meshed together permanently entwining.
