IMPORTANT NOTE, READ EVERYBODY: This was originally posted on my other account, Ziro, but I decided to put it on this account instead of deleting. -sigh- There goes 33 reviews.
Gracias to everyone who has given me ideas. :) Anyway, before I move onto everybody's requests and whatnot, this, no lie, just popped into my head a few seconds ago.
Summary: Ninetails is having a bit of a problem...
Scratch
Oh, damnit. I hate life. Right now, I really, really, really hate life. Come on...just a few more minutes. Eugh. Hurry up, Yami, nobody cares about your plans for world domination. I let out a small growl of frustration and moved uneasily in my 'seat' around Yami's large table...thing that he used for talking to us, and by 'us', I mean Blight, Lechku, Nechku, Spider Queen, Orochi, Crimson Helm, and me.
Blight...
Curse him and his little two-inch tall parasitic bug...thing and his beady eyes that follow my every move.
I might eat him after this meeting is over.
Oh...damnit. That's a bad idea.
"Hey, Ninetails, what's wrong with Orochi?" Lechku had asked me one day. Looking across the clearing, Orochi was tossing one of his many heads up and down and side to side and vomiting up a mess of human flesh and cows.
I simply sighed and ordered Orochi to cough up Blight.
Needless to say, I would rather eat Blight right now than endure what is happening right now. I was almost tempted to raise up one of paws and swat Blight across the table. Stop looking at me, you little bacteria thing, I thought bitterly, almost prepared to pounce on him. Blight raised one 'eyebrow' at me and turned around to listen to Yami's rambling.
As soon as he turned around, I quickly raised up a hindleg and started to scratch at my back like mad. A little black bug-like creature the size of a pin-point hopped off of me, dead. I looked closer at it and, upon inspection, found it to be a flea.
A flea.
I, Ninetails, nine-tailed kitsune, do not get fleas. Another flea then decided to start munching on me near my left shoulder blade. As fast as lightning, I whipped around and caught it with my teeth. The fleas kept coming, like an endless onslaught. I twisted and turned around like mad, my eyes narrowing down dangerously. As I was brutally slaughtering blood-sucking fleas, I, somehow, attracted to the attention of Yami.
His rambling instantly stopped, and he, along with my counterparts, all stared at me. Freezing, I slowly craned my thick-furred white head upwards and stared at them through my mask, my scarred eye stopping me from using my peripheral vision to see if Spider Queen was looking at me. "Do we have a problem?" asked Yami calmly.
Growling, I muttered a few curses. "Fine," I barked. My comrades all returned to their conversation, and I returned to savagely beating fleas into submission. I mused to myself silently, imagining little colonies of fleas living between my fur. I hope you all die a painful and humiliating death, I growled inwardly. I tried to avoid the glares and stares that my companions threw at me and ducked. "I'll be excusing myself," I barked curtly and started to turn around to leave the room.
"I'll get the flea shampoo!" Spider Queen's booming and manly voice yelled out as she followed me out the room.
Out of the whole game, Ninetails was always my favorite, with Oki (In his wolf form), Samickle, and the gray and white canine warrior whose name I can't remember. (He looked like a husky. I think his name was Take or something like that. -shrug- I think his Satomi House name was Rei. I'll have to check and see later)
Speaking of the canine warriors, I have an idea for them in a later chapter.
