"Gold, let her go." Regina said.

"Why? She promised us happy endings. I didn't get mine, so she won't get hers." Gold said, tightening his grip on Emma's throat.

Regina saw a tear fall from Emma's eye.

"Stop! I'll make a deal." Regina said.

"And what is this deal you propose?" Gold asked, loosening his grip.

"You let her live and take my memories of her. That way she lives, but she won't be with me, her happy ending." Regina said.

"Deal." Gold said, dropping her and walking over to Regina.

"Send her home first." Regina said, taking a step back.

Regina looked over to Emma and mouthed 'I love you'.

Gold waved his hand and Emma disappeared.

"Now don't move dearie." He said, as he placed his hand on Regina's head, extracting her memories.

Emma was now in her room.

"Regina." she whispered to herself.

She got up and ran to Regina's.

She knocked on the door and Regina opened it.

"Hello. Can I-" Regina started, but was cut off by Emma's lips on hers.

When Emma pulled away, she looked into Regina's, looking for any sign that she remembered.

Just as she was about to give up, something flashed in Regina's eyes.

"Emma." Regina mumbled.

Emma smiled and pulled Regina in for another kiss.

True Love's Kiss does work after all.
