Love. How do you explain it? Well sure, you could say, "a deep affection for another person," but that doesn't really cover much. You could give examples, like, "Love is the feeling a mother has for her children," or," Love is what you get when you have a boyfriend," but for me, Lindsey Duncan, the way I define love is by telling a story. The story of me, and my best friend Nate Gray.
I stood there, on the happiest day of my life, in a floor length white gown with a light pink ribbon tied around my waist. The top of my strapless dress had little white beads on it, and lace along the top. My hair fell in perfect little brunette curls around my face, and I was draped in a beautiful white veil.
My groom stood in front of me, his hair perfect shiny brown ringlets on his head. He was wearing a sharp black suit, accented with his gold tie. He was about my height, maybe a little bit taller. Needless to say, he looked absolutely perfect.
We stood there, gazing into each other's eyes, him into my crystallic blue eyes, and me into his deep brown eyes. We were completely oblivious to anyone around us.
Then it happened. The pastor uttered those magical six words.
"You may now kiss the bride."
