Summery: Sequel to The Reunion. Peter survives his heartbreak, for a little while at least; and John is re-united with Princess Tigerlily. What happens when Princess Tigerlily catches the eye of men, single and married, all around and no one has the ability to protect her? How long can Tinkerbelle stay away from Neverland?
Peter and Wendy Reunited Part Two
Wendy, feeling happier than she had in years, chanced a glance at Peter. What she saw made her sob with relief. For his beautiful eyes (Blue or Green people? There is an ongoing debate over this.)were open, and even though he was still pale and tired, he was going to be just fine. One of his hands came up off the bed and wrapped itself around the back of Wendy's head, pulling her to his chest. As she sobbed, Wendy was all too aware of the thin body beneath her, of one of his arms around her waist and the other running his fingers through her hair. It had been so long since she had seen him, so long since she had been in his arms; part of her couldn't believe that he was actually there. How many nights had she wished upon Neverland's star to return Peter to her?
Neither Peter nor Wendy noticed when Patty left the room again with Slightly following. Tink was resting on the head bored glowing a bright yellow in her happiness. John pulled Tigerlily's back to his chest, resting his chin on the top of her head and his arms around her waist. Smee wiped the tears away from his face and blew his nose before dragging Hook out of the room.
The prayer that Tigerlily had been singing changed to one that was usually only sung on the eve of ones marriage, not knowing if she would be in London long enough to see them married. It felt nice to be in John's arms once again, but men were fickle creatures and their attentions could easily be transferred to another. Take Peter, for example, prior to Wendy showing up on the scene he was certain that Tigerlily was to be the "mother" of the lost boys and had been in negotiations with her father for her hand.
Now, he was madly in love with Wendy and was completely devoted to her. Hopefully, his affections were properly placed this time and Wendy would not be hurt. Sighing, she smiled at the the scene before her once more before she turned around and planted a kiss very similar to the one she had given him all those years ago before leading him out of the room and down the hall to her room. A very happy Hook smirked at Tigerlily's door before walking down the stairs humming "It's A Pirates Life for Me."
