D'Void glanced at many Null Guardians as they followed him in the Null Void. ''We will eventually locate my enemies. You can tear them apart or devour their bodies.'' D'Void grinned. ''Deceased enemies are unable to defeat me. I will continue to conquer the Null Void.''
D'Void watched while Helen appeared with Manny and Pierce. He continued to grin. ''I found my enemies,'' he said. D'Void focused on the armed trio. ''My pet Null Guardians will devour you before you shoot me. They are fast.''
Three Null Guardians attacked Pierce and Helen with Manny. They dodged every laser from weapons.
D'Void cried out after a laser struck his chest. He winced before his eyes widened. *I'm devoid of weaknesses* he thought.
D'Void saw the trio again and scowled.
A baby Null Guardian approached Helen with Manny and Pierce. She snapped at them. They were going to die for hurting her father.
Manny aimed a weapon at the infant. Frowning, he pulled the trigger before a laser struck the Null Guardian. He heard D'Void while the latter gasped. ''The Null Guardian attacked my companions. I protected them.'' Manny saw the return of D'Void's scowl.
The Null Guardian fell on a rock. She sobbed uncontrollably.
D'Void's strength came back. Scowling again, he ran to Manny. His enemy was going to die for hurting his daughter.
D'Void punched Manny twice. His eyes were on Manny as the latter fell. ''I will end your life slowly and painfully.'' D'Void saw the other Null Guardians. He glanced from his daughter to them. ''End the lives of my enemies slowly and painfully, my pets.''
D'Void faced his daughter and lifted her. ''Daddy is here,'' he said to her. He smiled after her cries ceased. D'Void was not too weak to embrace her.
