Takanosuke and Eito

It was hard to be in his brother's shadow all the time, Kaito was just so good at what he did and Eito just felt like… Well who would notice him really?

Aside from him always being the one to instigate a battle, as he had done with Zero. He had no regrets even if he lost, because his brother would avenge him.

Was he jealous of his older brother?

Of course he was. Kaito just seemed to be able to do everything that he couldn't and it just irritated him.

He looked over at the ducks in the pond, caring for their young ducklings and remembered that Kaito was the one who helped to raise him, his big brother was both his mother and father as well as being his brother. He had taken on a lot of responsibility.

"Eito!" A male voice called over to him and he looked up to see that Takanosuke was walking over to him.

He tensed up, ready for anything that Takanosuke might say or do, after all he was no friend of his or his brother.

"What do you want?"

"You seem to look rather sad,"

"What's it to you?" Eito glared at him, before turning sharply away from him; Why is he bugging me?

"Well it's just not like you,"

"It's not like you to go around bugging people either,"

"Woah! All right," The blonde shrugged and began to walk away; "You shouldn't worry that people only see you as a way to get to your brother you know,"

"What?" Eito froze, wondering how did Takanosuke know that was what he had been thinking?

"It's kinda obvious, you are always the one who battles people and then you get your…"

"Shut up!" Eito snapped at him, feeling the tears begin; "Just go away!"

"But Eito," Takanosuke sighed and sat down; "Look I am not here to fight you,"

"Really? Cos every other time you have been wanting to battle someone,"

He just looked at the younger boy and sighed; "Look fine, just leave it, I just thought you'd want to talk,"

"Well why would I want to talk to you? I heard you've been at Sakyo's coat tails since he beat Zero and Shinobu,"

"I have not! He's someone I want to learn from, our bey's are similar,"

"Tch I have no time for you," Eito got up and began to walk away from him.

"I am here if you want to talk Eito!"

"No, you'll be off trying to find Sakyo," Eito thought to himself as he walked away, deciding that he should go back and see his brother, probably stop and get some food as well, since Kaito did have a habit of forgetting to eat.
