''I am going to enjoy tearing you apart,'' D'Void said to Helen and Manny with Pierce. He grinned at them. ''You will never arrest me for conquering the Null Void.'' His enemies' scowls never bothered him. D'Void viewed four Null Guardians flying near the trio. ''You can devour my enemies after I defeat them.''
''You won't defeat us, D'Void,'' Manny said. He ran to D'Void and raised a fist. He almost struck D'Void before the latter stepped to one side.
''You are not going to avoid another attack.'' Manny almost punched D'Void. His scowl remained after D'Void stepped back.
D'Void looked back. A frown replaced his grin after he saw a citadel. *Hopefully my baby will remain in the citadel. She will probably try to protect me from enemies. She won't be safe near my enemies* D'Void thought. Worry filled his eyes.
Helen used her tail to strike D'Void. She frowned after he was knocked down. Helen winced the minute his head contacted the ground.
Her eyes became wide as soon as a baby Null Guardian flew out of the citadel.
D'Void struggled to remain awake during a sudden scowl. The world began to spin faster and faster. *A concussion?* D'Void thought.
He faced the baby Null Guardian and smiled.
''Are you worried about me?'' D'Void asked.
The Null Guardian flew into her father's arms.
''Are you going to remain with me?'' D'Void winced during his bad headache. Four tears streamed down his face. He continued to embrace the Null Guardian. *I'm not going to prison.* D'Void smiled at the Null Guardian. *I'm not going to release you* he thought. He fell asleep and never opened his eyes.
