You will protect me from enemies,'' D'Void said to many Null Guardians in the Null Void. He looked ahead. He saw Helen with Manny and Pierce.
D'Void grinned.
''You are under arrest for taking over the Null Void. Surrender right now, D'Void,'' Pierce said. He frowned at D'Void. Pierce also saw the Null Guardians.
''D'Void is not going to surrender, Pierce. That's why we have to defeat him,'' Manny said. After aiming two weapons at his enemy, he pulled the triggers. He gasped the minute a baby Null Guardian flew to D'Void. Manny viewed a laser striking the infant. He shook his head before the Null Guardian fell in a shocked D'Void's arms.
D'Void scowled as he heard his daughter's cries. He glanced from his enemies to the Null Guardians. ''End their lives slowly and painfully,
my pets.'' He embraced the Null Guardian and ran. *I must find a safe place. I must save my daughter* he thought.
D'Void ran for what seemed like hours. He saw a cave before he entered it. ''We will always be safe,'' he said to the Null Guardian.
D'Void sat down. His eyes were still on the baby. He gasped the minute she stopped breathing.
Two tears ran down D'Void's face. *My daughter will never hold me again. She will never be happy now.* D'Void sobbed as he held the Null Guardian again. He looked up after he heard footsteps in the cave. He gasped as soon as lepers appeared. *I will always be safe* D'Void thought before the curious lepers touched his face and arms.
