D'Void frowned as he walked into his bedroom. He watched while a baby Null Guardian embraced two stuffed animals in a crib. There was a reason why there were many stuffed animals near his foster daughter. D'Void touched one side of the Null Guardian's form. *You will never get better*
he thought. D'Void smiled after the baby cooed.
*I will not abandon my daughter. She must be happy* D'Void thought. Tears began to appear in his eyes. A frown formed on his face. D'Void looked back for a few seconds. *At least my enemies are not in my citadel. Perhaps adult Null Guardians will pursue them.*
D'Void's eyes became wide after he heard footsteps near the bedroom. *My enemies are here?* he thought. D'Void viewed Helen appearing with Pierce and Manny. He frowned again. *I guess that answers my question.* He glanced at the Null Guardian. *I must protect my daughter* D'Void thought.
''You are trapped, D'Void. You are going to prison for conquering the Null Void,'' Pierce said. He concentrated on D'Void. ''Your pet Null Guardians are not going to attack me. They are not here. Surrender this instant.''
D'Void scowled at Pierce with Manny and Helen. A grin replaced his scowl after four Null Guardians appeared. ''You three might wish to turn your heads before you lose them.'' D'Void saw the trespassers' confused expressions. His eyes were still on them as they turned their heads. He heard them while they gasped.
D'Void faced the baby after the Null Guardians pursued Helen with Manny and Pierce. He viewed her holding three stuffed animals.
He smiled again. Many tears ran down his face. D'Void sobbed. His baby wasn't aware of time. Why worry about her final hours alive?
