''Let's find D'Void and arrest him for conquering the Null Void,'' a freedom fighter said. He turned to Helen and Manny with Pierce.
He saw matching frowns.
''We have to be careful near D'Void. He is powerful. The Null Guardians are always with him. They are not weak,'' Pierce said to the freedom fighter. His eyes became wide after the freedom fighter ran. He followed him in the Null Void.
Pierce ran for what seemed like hours. His eyes widened another time after he viewed a still D'Void on a rock. ''D'Void?'' he muttered.
He also saw a still Null Guardian.
''Our companion killed D'Void?'' Manny asked.
''D'Void and the Null Guardian will probably attack us the minute we approach them. We have to be careful,'' Helen said to Pierce and Manny.
She frowned at D'Void. Helen viewed Manny approaching D'Void and the latter's pet. ''Why are you approaching D'Void and the Null Guardian?''
Helen shook her head in disbelief.
Pierce and Helen gasped after the Null Guardian attacked Manny.
D'Void sat up before he winced. He grinned as the Null Guardian wrapped its tentacles around Manny's waist. He saw his enemies' wide eyes.
''Your friend harmed me, but my pet devoured him. You will be with him in spirit. Oh. I never said my pet was injured.''
