His back was turned. Ethan Nakamura snuck behind Percy Jackson to stab him. The small of his back, he thought. He lunged, just at the same time as the scary blonde one, Annabeth, looked back. Her eyes widened. She jumped in front of Percy, and screamed in pain. Percy turned around, and his eyes widened when he saw Ethan. "You." He growled. Ethan smirked and ran, just far enough to hear Percy yell, "Nobody touch her!"
Ethan sat up, and groaned.
