"You've got to be kidding me."

Haruhi certainly hoped Tamaki was kidding; in truth, she was terrified that he wasn't. His latest scheme to earn publicity for the club was downright outrageous. Not to mention the cliched plot of many a dramatic story.

"I'm very serious!" the blond Host declared. "The talent show being done by the drama club is the perfect way to get publicity for the club! And because each of us has a specific talent, one of us is certain to win!"

"Yeah! That'd be perfect!"

"Good thinking, boss!"

The female Host groaned. She had to admit, they'd get publicity, but she didn't have any talents to speak of, save solving math problems. And Mori didn't seem the type to showcase anything on his own, neither did Kyoya. They were the two members of the club she was worried about.

Mori shrugged a little as Honey hugged his leg tightly. "Takashi! We can do a martial arts demonstration!"

Alright, that was one she didn't have to worry about, to be certain. However, there was still the ever-present issue of Kyoya, who'd be playing the part of little black raincloud in roughly three... two... one.

"You do realize that to advertise the club, you must state that you are a member of the club. And clubs can only be represented in two acts, according to the contest rules. To do things your way, you'd need at least four acts. Kaoru and Hikaru, Honey-senpai and Mori-senpai, you, and Haruhi."

"We could all combine into one act!"

"Clubs are allowed up to six members per act, so I see no problem with that."

Haruhi made a face, but then realized something. They couldn't perform in one act; they had seven members. "... Kyoya-senpai, did you forget to count me again?"

"I never forget to count you, Haruhi, usually, you don't count at all. However, this time, I did count you."

"You said we had six members to enter in one act."

"We do. You, Tamaki, Kaoru, Hikaru, Mori-senpai, and Honey-senpai."

"What about you?"

"Kyoya, you have to compete too!" Tamaki whined. "It must be a unified club effort!"

"I'll have to decline. Putting whatever talents I may or may not have on display simply doesn't appeal to me." Kyoya wrote something down in his notebook. "Besides, I'm far too busy to coordinate your little showcase. You'll have to make do without me."
