Not a single member of her crew had wanted to get off anywhere other than the Citadel, they all knew that the Illusive Man had sent them to the slaughter, even Miranda felt betrayed and knew the only reason she was alive was because of who Commander Shepard was. They all knew that she was throwing herself into the line of fire by walking off the ship first, wearing her N7 gear. She was greeted by Captain Anderson and Councilor Undina when she walked out.

''This isn't right, she's not with Cerberous'' shouted Kelly Chambers

''They may have brought her to life but we work for her, not Cerberous'' barked Jacob

''If you want to help her, speak at her hearing'' muttered Anderson

They watched as Shepard turned to say goodbye to each one of her crew members one by one, she couldn't help but laugh at Joker opening protesting about having his baby taken away from him, which had everyone laughing.

''Stay safe everyone and don't worry I'll be fine'' she half smiled knowing this was the end of the road for her.

They watched as she was escorted onto her mother's ship the Kilimanjaro, then as it took off they openly hugged and cried in each other's arms.

''Shepard wouldn't want us to be like this'' hissed Garrus

''Then what can we do?'' asked Tali

''Go to earth in seven days to testify at her trial'' said Garrus
