She laid therein her satin nightgown, night after night wondering if the man she was next to was the right person to be with.

Of course he was. She told herself.

She looked over at his muscular structure. His rippling muscles, and his cute smile, he was so peaceful when he slept.

But while he slept she laid with guilt that slowly rose above the surface. Every night it would just burn and ache. She thought about the man she left every evening, and how much it would hurt him to know about this affair. How much it would kill him.

But that's what she wanted.

For him to feel the pain.

The constant pain she's felt over a year, she wanted him to feel it too. The more she thought about what he's done to her the more her guilt turned into anger. And that anger had easily been turned into hot passionate sex with Karl…the man lying next to her.

She remembered the first night that Orson had really upset her. It wasn't much…it was only a few words. But it just made her go right over the edge.

"I…do these things… to hurt you Bree." Orson said in a sullen tone.

See. Orson wanted her to suffer, and she had. So now it was only fair to return the favor.

She didn't know she was capable of such behavior. But it happened; she had slept with Karl Mayer, on more than one occasion. And she was proud. She almost couldn't wait to get home tonight so she could tell her husband about it. She wanted to see him crumble, collapse to his knees, anything to see that little light in his eye just flicker off.

She slowly rose from the bed that she'd been laying on for almost an hour with her new boy toy. She kissed him softly as he slept and then placed a note on the pillow beside him, letting him know she had left.

She got dressed ever so slowly, so it gave her time to think about how she'd deliver the news to her husband. She smiled at a few ideas, and then just frowned at some. She got into the car and turned on the music. Ironically…her and Orson's wedding song began to fill the car. She immediately shut off the music, and then had to rethink about her plan. Was this really the right thing to do? How in the world could Bree Van De Kamp, become so horrid, and mean? She sat for a moment at a red light and pondered if she could actually bring so much pain to one human being.

As long as that one human being was Orson Hodge…she could definitely go through with it.

She arrived home taking a deep cleansing breath as she opened the door. She could see Orson reading a newspaper ever so quietly.

"Honey…I'm home. And I've got some big news." Bree plastered on a cute and delicate smile just for him. Because she knew how that smile he had on now was about to be ripped away in one minute. Then Bree turned and shut the door with a slightly evil smirk.
