These characters are owned by Uncle Rick. I was just overwhelmed after reading the awesomeness that BoO is and had to celebrate Solangelo!

As a Demi-God, Nico di Angelo was used to dream-visions and had suffered through more than his fair share of nightmares. The war with Gaea and her evil henchmen was over. His new friend Will Solace had confined him to 3 days in the Camp Half-Blood infirmary. Nico had pouted and whined like a twelve year-old but Will's fussing over him made him feel happy and contented.

That night, Nico had a dream that made his blood race but fortunately for him, it was neither another of those blasted visions nor a nightmare.

"NICO, WAKE UP! I'M HERE! YOU'RE OKAY, NICKY", he heard Will calling out as he shook Nico awake. As soon as Nico's eyes opened, Will let out a breath and started off, "Are you okay? I was sitting by your bed and I must have nodded off and the next thing I know, I'm awake and you're moaning and you're writhing on your bed! Are you in pain? Is it your shoulder? Was it a bad dream? Should I go get Chiron? "

Nico couldn't help it. His shoulders shook with laughter as the absurdity of the situation sank in. The guy he was having a hot dream about just shook him awake. Fate?

Will's lips thinned and he snatched up Nico's left wrist to check his pulse. "Will you tell me what this is about, Death Boy?" "I wake up to hear you in pain and now you're laughing like a maniac. Whatever happened to you? Three days won't do it. I'm keeping you here, under my observation until I'm sure you're good to go."

Nico would be lying if he said this determined and serious facet of Will didn't turn him on. "I'm okay", Nico's voice came out raspy. He could swear Will's hand that was still wrapped around Nico's wrist just clenched tighter. "It was just a dream, Healer. I'm alright. You, however, are clearly in need of some rest. You've done enough. Now, slide in with me and go to sleep. I'm not taking no for an answer." Nico moved to one side of the bed, caught Will's free hand with his own and tugged him down. Will got into bed, facing Nico. He tucked the blanket around both of them but was unable to look Nico in the eye. He was nervous but he was happier than he had been in a long while. He breathed in the scent of soap and Nico and suddenly emboldened, extended his hand and wrapped his pinky around Nico's. Even in the darkness, he could swear he saw Nico flash a smile. No words were spoken but the promise and hope of tomorrow warmed them as surely as the blanket did. They fell asleep like that, breathing in sync.
