An Ode to Star Trek
Oh Star Trek, how I love thee!
Your ships, even when in a wreck, so beautiful to see!
Even with the wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey stuff you spouted in you movie,
You are still oh-so-groovy!
I don't know what I would do without your Mr. Spock.
Who quoted Sherlock Holmes, on the spot!
Captain Kirk so courteous, Bones won't you be mine!
Oh thinking of Scotty's Scottish accent… it doth make me pine!
Pine? For what, you may ask.
I shall tell you, though it be a task!
I pine for Spock's lovely ears!
And his beauteous logic, which dispels many tears.
Ah, what more can I say?
I pine for Spock's eyebrows! So full, so slanted all the day!
But Uhura, you little man-stealing whelp!
I should not dislike, but can't you take Kirk for yourself?
We are nearing the end of this little ditty.
Only one thing left to say…
I LOVE YOU STAR TREK!
But you're not real.
What a pity.
A/N~ And that was my silly little poem, written after I watched Star Trek 2009. Your thoughts? Tell me, whether they be on my [lack of] poetry skills, Star Trek: Into Darkness or Mr. J.J. *coughcoughkingofthenerdfando ms* Abrams directing.
Squee, Benelockkhanvillian Cumberholmes!
