Draco Malfoy didn't like Valentines Day. Draco had NEVER liked Valentines day. To him it was all quite stupid really. His mother used to tell him stories about Cupid. They were stupid stories. Why would a naked flying baby want to shoot people with arrows of love? Even the colors were stupid. Pink and red do not go together. To Draco Malfoy Valentines Day was a big show put on by companies like Honeydukes. A show where happy couples could rub their relationships in everyone elses face. Draco Malfoy did NOT like happy couples. So on the morning of February 14 Draco Malfoy awoke, ready to fight off an army of squelling girls led by Pansy Parkinson. He ate his breakfast feeling thoroughly miserable and agrivated at the small line that had formed of blushing girls waiting to give him Valentine cards.

To tall.

To skinny.

To ditzy

To...........Is that even a girl?!

To make matters worse Potter almost flatened him on the way to potions. "Sorry Malfoy." He had mumbled, blushing madly and trying rather hard to hide it. Draco had just rolled his eyes and continued on his way. Draco took his seat next to Pansy, threatening to melt her face if she so much as giggled within the next hour. Draco had to fight the urge to scream when his quill broke and slammed his onto his desk and rummaged through it with un-needed force. A small red card slipped out of his bag and landed on his lap. Thoroughly confused, he opened it and gazed at the moving figures of the Cudley Canons as they zoomed around a quidditch pitch. The glittering letters at the bottom read 'You make my life magical.' Draco frowned at the card. Who gave me this? He thought. All the girls had given him run-of-the-mill, over decorated, frilly valentines. And how did they get it in my bag?

His stomach fluttered when he remembered his run in with Potter in the hall. He twisted in his seat and looked at the class celebrity. Harry's eyes were locked on the ceiling and his face was bright red. Draco looked back at the card and smirked.

So maybe Draco didn't hate Valentines Day that much.
