Chapter 1
Vera's POV
After a few weeks of thinking about it. I finally decided that I was going back to Anubis house and tell Victor thaet I'm sorry, which I was. But he didn't seem to believe me when I first told him.
He needs to know. Right now. I hurried to my car and opened the door and drove to Anubis House. Hopefully he will be there, where else would he be? He lives there. I told myself. I finally arrived after moments of talking to myself.
I parked my car in the drive way then I walked up to the house looking really nervous. I knocked on the door.
I heared someone coming. Victor. I thought. Oh no, here he comes. Why did I come here? He opened the door and looked at me shocked.
"Vera...?" He asked. Looking really confused. I didn't say anything.
I broke down crying. He still didn't say anything either. Why wouldn't he say something? Was he THAT confused?
"I'm so sorry Victor..." I finially said.
"For what?" He asked.
"Everything..." I cried.
"Vera, come inside before you catch a cold." He helped me up and I nodded, following him inside.
I followed him into his office. He let me in first, trying to be a gentlemen, I guessed.
"I believe you." He finally said. I looked at him, surprised by his words.
"You do?" I asked.
"Yes... I can see it in your eyes that you are truely sorry." Victor said.
"I love you..." I said quickly.
He smiled at me. We both leaned in at the same time, and we kissed. It was the most amazing kiss ever. His lips were soft.
I smiled. Knowing that we are now officaly together. At least I hoped that we were...
