The school day had just begun, and Adam was at his locker, gathering his textbooks. As he had been doing so, he heard giddy breathing from behind.
"BoJack Horseman... BoJack Horseman..."
"Ugh, Jake! Can you at least stop trying to be creepy in the morning for once?"
"Oh, hi Adam. Sorry about that. Anyways, BoJack Horseman's coming to visit Charles Darwin middle school tomorrow!"
"BoJack Horseman? He was in that show from the 90's about a talking horse guy who adopted three human kids?"
"He played the Horse and the show was called Horsin' Around," said Jake preemptively.
"So he's actually coming to Charles Darwin?"
said Adam.
"Ahem." Jake pointed at the flyer on the bulletin board. It read:
BoJack Horseman, star of the beloved 90's sitcom Horsin' Around will be here tomorrow at Charles Darwin Middle School. For Real.
(BoJack's POV)
Back at his mansion, BoJack was looking through his reminders on his phone, smoking a cigarette.
He then came across the Horseplay tour, where he would visit K-8 schools and speak there.
"What? Oh, Shit! I gotta call Princess Caroline.
"Hey, BoJack."
"Ugh, Princess Carolyn, can you please tell me why I'm supposed to be doing this tour again?"
"Back on Horsin' Around, you were a beam of light to so many kids who didn't feel appreciated. Sure, your adult audience thinks badly of you, but there's just this innocent and naive nature that children have. It made them admire you. It would also make you feel better about yourself.
"Ugh, middle schoolers?" he shuddered.
"Those were some of the worst times of my life."
BoJack sat back down on his sofa, taking a long drag his cigarette, staring down at the floor.
"Wait. BoJack. Bo-."
He pressed the end button, guzzling a bottle of beer, the staring up at the ceiling.
