Natalia stepped out of the shower dirtier then when she had gone in. " You know when you asked if I wanted to spend the weekend with you, this is not what I had in mind.
Calleigh looked up from where she was stirring a gallon of paint and grinned. "It worked though didn't it? Besides you'll be rewarded later."
"But why do I have to be the one spackling and taping?"
"Because I love you."
"That's unfair."
"I know. By the way Tal… you missed a spot."
Calleigh never saw it coming but seconds letter a glob of spackle was rolling down her forehead.
"Oh, now it's on."
After that Natalia was fleckled a light blue from the paintbrush in Calleigh's hand. Natalia grabbed a brush of her own and left Calleigh gasping with a light green patch on her arm.
Both women stopped and looked at each other for a brief moment before flinging paint at each other with rapid movements. Natalia nearly doubled over in laughter when Calleigh's bare foot found the already filled paint tray. Unfortunately for Natalia in her laughter she never saw the roller that coated her back and hair completely.
When Calleigh saw the look on Natalia's face she had to lean against the wall to catch her breathe from laughter, she never realized she was leaning against a freshly painted wall until it was all too late. Calleigh glared at Natalia when she began to giggle and seconds later Natalia had a blue streak of paint down each cheek.
Natalia took the moment to pounce and pin Calleigh to the wet wall. "Think this has gone far enough yet?"
Calleigh grinned up at the beautiful woman than looked around her bathroom…"Not exactly the remodeling I had in mind is it? Truce?"
"Truce." And that's when Natalia dumped the gallon of paint on Calleigh. "Oops?"
Calleigh couldn't help but smile as she leaned up to kiss the taller woman. "Alright love, maybe we should get a shower." She looked around the bathroom again… "You know I might just leave it like this. To remind me of us."
Natalia smiled and took Calleigh's hand and led her to the shower.
They bathroom stayed exactly as it was, splotches, body prints and all.
