Fire Alarm
I can't believe it. I'm in Principal Xemnas's office again. He's sitting there shouting at me that I'm taking drugs.
"Principal Xemnas! I'm not taking drugs!" I screamed. What's with this guy and drugs!
"I only want to help you, but you have to tell me where you're keeping your drugs! Who are you getting them from?" Principal Xemnas's right eye was twitching. I couldn't argue with this man.
"Fine. I'm getting the drugs from"- The fire alarm screeched loudly. I guess it's time for me to go. "Ummm… Principal Xemnas? I guess I have to go. Namine probably found her artwork unfinished. Better go," I said as fast as I could. I ran out of the room and down the hall. I turned the corner and ran into Kairi. "Kairi!"
"Sora! You made it out!" What? She jumped into my arms excitedly. Not that I minded, but I was confused. I let go of her and put my hands on her shoulders.
"Kairi, what do you mean?" Things were getting weird. How did she know where I was?
"Someone told me Principal Xemnas asked you to his office. I knew it was the drug thing so I pulled the fire alarm and-" I cut her off.
"You pulled the fire alarm?" I asked incredulously. Kairi would never do that.
"Yeah. I wasn't about to let Principal Xemnas scream at you for hours about drugs." She looked like it was the simplest thing in the world.
"I love you," I blurted out without thinking. She froze and stared at me.
"What?" She breathed. I looked at the ground.
"I love you," I whispered still looking at the ground. She put her hand under my chin and lifted my face so that we were eye level. Her small palm cupped my face gently.
"I love you, too, Sora," She grinned. I leaned forward and pressed my lips to her small, petite ones.
Life couldn't get any better.
