Years of peace followed the Galactic Republic in the 2 decades that followed the end of the Clone Wars. The Jedi Order thrived as well and Anakin sat on the council as a Jedi master alongside Yoda and Obi-Wan. Meanwhile, Leia had grown up to take her mother's place as the senator of Naboo (with Han Solo as her personal guard), while also training (under her father) as a Jedi Knight. Becoming the liaison between the Galactic Senate and the Jedi Order. Her brother, Luke, was also training in the ways of the Jedi, under his father, Obi-Wan, and Yoda.
However, the peace was about to be threatened once more. Jabba the Hutt, a Hutt crime lord from Tatooine, had gathered together multiple Hutts and their pirates and criminals into an army. Jabba had decided the time had come for Hutts to rule the galaxy, which they hadn't sought in over 15,000 years. However, the true masterminds behind the Hutts' new-found lust for power was a Dark force user named Snoke, and his apprentice, a Dathomir witch strong with the dark side named Silri. Who also sought galactic conquest with Sidious (Palpatine) gone.
The Hutts' criminal army seized the planet Alderaan. As their 1st peace-keeping trial, Luke and Leia both went together. However, the Hutts wouldn't listen (mainly because Silri was continuing to manipulate them). And so, Luke's father and teacher came in, along with a few clone veterans form the Clone Wars to fight the Hutt threat. During the fight, Leia is captured as a slave for Jabba and Silri abandons the conflict. Thanks to some quick thinking, Leia uses her chain to choke Jabba to death while her brother and father fight through the Hutt forces. Without Silri or Jabba's support, the Hutts unconditionally surrender. The minor leaders are then placed under arrest and sent to the senate to explain their actions.
Luke and Leia are certain the crisis was over, but it was only the beginning. The 3 Skywalkers sensed a growing presence of the dark side. Meanwhile, Silri (under her master's instructions) traveled to the Sith homeworld (and graveyard) of Korriban. There, she used an ancient Sith holocron to locate and unlock a secret tomb where an ancient Sith soldier army was perfectly preserved in carbonite. With this army, Snoke and Silri would have their military might for galactic conquest.
