A/N: This is kind of a sequel to An Adventure in Parenting, which was a DuoXHilde fic, but this time I had the idea to give Wufei a child-induced migraine. Enjoy.
Disclaimer: I don't own Gundam Wing and I make no profit from this.
"You what?" Wufei asked his 16-year-old daughter as he rubbed his temples. "No, Tao, no, you're not going to."
"Dad, it's my body!" Tao argued, stomping her foot. "I can do whatever the hell I want to do with it, and if I want a nose piercing then I can get one!"
Wufei chose not to nitpick with the swear word. Pick your battles, Sally had taught him. "Not until you're 18, you can't."
"What does she want?" Sally poked her head into the room, eyebrow raised. "Wufei, don't have blow a vessel."
"She wants a nose piercing." Wufei sat down and switched to rubbing his forehead.
"It's my body." Tao argued, turning to her Mother for sympathy.
"We'll talk about it." Sally motioned for Tao to come with her, and then made a "stay" signal to Wufei.
"Why?" Wufei mouthed as Sally began to close the door.
"Trust me on this, honey." Sally mouthed back and shut the door.
About ten minutes later, Tao slipped back into the living room, looking slightly green. "Never mind, Dad." She kept going until she was in her room, and clicked the door shut quietly.
"What did you say to her?" Wufei asked as he stepped into the kitchen, where Sally was leaning against the counter.
"I showed her pictures of infections you can get in a nose piercing." Sally shrugged. "It's not a big deal."
"You're a better parent than I am." Wufei sighed and kissed Sally briefly. "That's why I love you."
"If she didn't have your stubborn streak, you'd be the better parent." Sally laughed. "Like and like clashes, but I know how to handle your attitude. There's still time for her stubborn streak to wear off." Sally smirked. "Of course, yours didn't."
Wufei pinned her to the counter and kissed her. If he couldn't win with his daughter, at least he had his beautiful wife.
A/N: These are so short. Anyway, I don't know how I thought of this, but I liked the idea. It didn't work out as planned though. Still, what do you think? I love to hear from you! Thank you for reading!
