Eternity of Time
As Remus Lupin looked at his reflection in the 3rd story Hogwarts window, he remembered his friends. The Marauders. Lily, James, Peter, and Sirius. He remembered how times of fear could quickly be transported to times of happiness, or laughter. He couldn't help but remember everything he had.
Times change, he thought, looking at the downpour of thunder and lightning outside his window.
He wanted to remember everything he use to have. But it all couldn't fit. He had to choose his most precious memories and store them deep inside his mind. He could not afford a Pensive.
He wanted to remember how he felt when they said they wouldn't abandon him because he was a werewolf. He wanted to remember when he had his first kiss. He wanted to remember so much, it wouldn't, and couldn't fit.
But on that fearful October night, everything changed. His world seemed to crumble beneath him. When he received the owl that Lily and James were dead, he felt faint at heart for them.
Remembering things has been hard for him now. They don't come so clearly anymore. He wants to, needs to remember so much, he lets it go. Lets it go deep down into his soul for what may seem forever, but is really eternity.
A/N: Look everyone. I felt depressed and this is my very best. Minerva, don't kill me, I had to write my best for once. Anna, if you have criticism, don't give it to me on this story because it is my best. My best may seem pathetic to some of you, but to me, it is a tremendous relief. : I love you all…-Lils
