A/N: This is a response to one of nine prompts that a friend left in my LiveJournal. The prompt used here is: unscratchable itch. And... I really have no idea. I apologize for how weird the writing style of this one may look.

-----------------------------------------

Jyou knows he shouldn't scratch. Scratching it only makes it itch worse, and it's already aggrevating enough as it is. He's only thankful that his allergic reaction to it is only causing mild itching and tiny blisters.

Sora smirks at him. She thinks it's amusing that he didn't bother to check the lower areas of the vine and notice that the plant had three leaves.

Three leaves meant poison ivy. How was Jyou supposed to know this when most of the areas only had two? It wasn't his fault that Digimon probably passed by the area and ripped them off without thinking.

At least Sora is partially sympathetic. She's got a nice, cool rag that she keeps applying to his arm every few minutes so as not to give him a chance to scratch. She can see the urge to do so on his face, but she keeps swatting his hand away.

She doesn't want it to get worse. Jyou tells her he's somewhat sure the rash won't spread, but she won't take chances. Her boyfriend is miserable enough already, and it's only covering a rag's length of his arm.

Jyou sighs and sulks against the couch as Sora gets up to cool the rag down again. The urge to scratch is slowly fading, though he knows it'll be at least four or five more days before everything goes away.
