Hey guys i'm back after a short break. This is the first in a series of oneshots in which the characters know they are in a videogame. So sit back and enjoy the ride. This chapter sucks because i wrote this in the middle of a game session when the idea popped up.
The leap of faith
Altair squats on a ledge synchronising. He fears of what is to happen to him.
Altair : [thinking to himself] Please dont press W+SPACE+RMB [ yeah, i play on the pc]
Gamer : Too late [presses the buttons] O_o
Altair jumps off to perform a leap of faith. An eagle's screeching is heard.
Altair falls of a twenty story tower and lands in a cart full of hay. And miracalously survives thanks to the fact he is in a game.
Altair : Goddam those devs.
Nearby Villager : Oh whata crazy guy [ while thinking if he could do the same and survive ]. How come an eagle calls whenever he falls. And how do i know this ?
Ubi Dev : [ to the audiance ] We had to do that so you dont hear his screams.
Altair : But you couldnt teach me how to swim ?
Ubi Dev : Well we are working on that for the sequel.
Altair : Fuck you, i'm not even in it. [ draws hidden blade ]
Ubi Dev : [ nervously ] well...we ...could ...make ...aa...aaaarrrraaa
Altair : Speak up strange man who is not in the game yet talking to me
Ubi Dev : we could make an arangement...
Altair gets pissed off and stabs the guy in the the neck
Altair : Should have thought of that before the fans made a million fanfics.
[Points to some random guy named ProtoAssassin] Your next.
While the author is busy shutting down his pc, in the distance someone jumps from the tower Altair jumped from moments ago then hits the ground and dies.
Although the chapter sucked reviews are still welcome.
