"Woo," called Hedwig as she gracefully flew down from her perch. The man she had waited her whole life for, her soul mate, Hagrid, had finally arrived. Candles were lit around the owlery, which gave the room a warm, inviting glow, and a picnic had been laid out. Hagrid was startled to find such a display. "All tha' for me?" he asked, clearly impressed. A hoot escaped Hedwig's beak. Hagrid's big black eyes met with Hedwig's golden and without another moment, Hagrid gracefully swooped Hedwig into a deep, yet sweet kiss. As the candles flickered around them, Hedwig playfully nipped at Hagrid's lip. The night was only beginning.
