A/N: Yes, I'm writing a fic for ANOTHER series most of you probably never heard of. Personally, I found it to be a very good and interesting series that keeps you wanting to read more and more of it every page. You can read this manga on Of course, '20th Century Boys' won't appeal to EVERYONE, but it's still a great series.

'What the hell were we thinking back then?' Endo Kenji thought to himself as he sat in bed, rereading the 'Book Of Prophecy' for the tenth time that night. He couldn't have imagined how such foolish ideas from his childhood could become reality, yet it was happening. Everything was going exactly as "Friend" planned...exactly as Kenji had planned...

Tossing the old book to the side, Kenji stared up at the ceiling and let out a sigh. 'I guess this is what it means when your past catches up to you...' he thought as he remembered the headlines of virus outbreaks in San Francisco and London. Kenji really wasn't sure what to think anymore.

'Why...why did this all have to happen?' he wondered as he climbed out of his bed and picked up the 'Book Of Prophecy' from off the dirty wooden floor. As he stared hard at the front cover of the small book, all Kenji could think about was the bastard who made this all happen: "Friend".

Kenji's face grew tense as he thought of the shocking revelation "Friend" had revealed to him at that so-called concert. "You said...you were Kanna's father...you said that I was your little brother...because you are Kiriko's husband..." Kenji whispered quietly to himself. He flipped the book open to the page where the symbol of "Friend" stood out right in his face, almost mocking him in a way.

With powerful force, Kenji ripped the page out of the book and shredded it to pieces, a calm look on his face all the way. As the shreds of paper dropped to the floor, Kenji stomped on them and thought, 'For the world...for my sister...for Kanna...I will stop your plans, "Friend"...No matter what...'
