MAJOR MIKE CHANG DISSING AHEAD! READ AT YOUR OWN RISK!

Silence

Mike didn't talk. It was frustrating. He would shrug when you spoke to him, but ignore you at any other time. During the Diva Off, he watched intently, but when asked who he voted for, he remained silent. Whenever anyone sang, he watched carefully, and then shrugged, as if he couldn't care less. It was awful, especially during rehearsals for the Boys vs. Girls mashups.

"Mike, back jackets or red?" Kurt would ask.

Mike would shrug.

"Mike, should we cut this line?" Finn would say, pointing at the lyrics on the sheet.

Mike would shrug.

"Mike, what dance move should we use here?" Artie would question him.

Mike would shrug.

Eventually they gave up.

Dancing

When New Directions discovered Mike could dance, they tried to showcase his talent. People would ask for help when they didn't understand the dance, but he wouldn't really help. When dancing with a partner, he always danced faster and better than him/her, causing the whole routine to be off. Everyone tried dropping hints, but nothing happened.

"M-m-Mike?" Tina would stutter. "I-I don't really get this dance move, could you help?"

He would show her the move, and then glare when she got confused.

"Hey, Mike? Umm... I just wanted to say..." Artie would begin nervously, "When you're pushing me in my chair in the new number, could you please slow down? I now you don't want to be too slow, but you're so fast there's a few seconds where we're waiting for the others..."

In the next rehearsal Mike would push the chair so slowly they missed 3 lines of the song.

Eventually they gave up.

Pop 'n' Lock

He could Pop 'n' Lock, and pointed it out at every opportunity.

"So guys, what song do you want to do this week?" Will would ask the club.

"I can Pop 'n' Lock" Mike would say, possibly trying to say he'd like to do something to Pop 'n' Lock to, but to everyone else, it seemed like he was showing off.

During pair/ small group songs, he would remind them daily. But they weren't fluent in Mike Language, and just saw him as a pest.

Eventually they gave up.

Singing

He joined Glee club. Ok. He could dance. Ok. He could sing... No. Rachel was the first one to find out, when she recorded the club when she got Laryngitis. He was often sharp, frequently flat, and half the time he didn't bother to sing. She considered telling Mr Schuester, but realised if Mike left they wouldn't have enough members to qualify for competition. So really, it was her self-absorbency that kept the club from finding out. Well, until his duet with Tina... That was so bad it was cringeworthy.

Eventually they gave up.

Leaving

It was 4PM on a Wednesday afternoon, and Glee practice had just started.

Will walked in. "Hey guys, I've got a great new song for us to-" He was cut off by Mike getting up and standing next to him.

"I quit." Mike announced. The rest of New Directions stared at him blankly.

"W-what?" Will gasped.

"I'm transferring. To Carmel High. To join Vocal Adrenaline."

The club just looked at him.

"I'm great! I can sing, I can Pop 'n' Lock!"

Kurt raised an eyebrow.

"A-and..." This wasn't going to plan. WHY WEREN'T THEY BEGGING HIM TO STAY? "And I'm great with the costumes..."

Mercedes started sniggering, then disguised it with a coughing fit. Kurt didn't bother, he just laughed insanely.

"I QUIT!" he screamed, running out.

The rest of the club looked at each other, before laughing, high fiving and chatting. Sure, they were a member down, but Mike was the worst person they'd ever had the misfortune to work with.
