I don't own GOOD LUCK CHARLIE. Just the idea

"Morning PJ," Bob said

"Hello BOBADICT Arnold," PJ said annoyed

"Okay you've been like that for the past 3 days. Will you kindly explain where this TUDE is coming from"

"From here," PJ said, "Because you obviously love Teddy more then you love me!"

"What," Bob asked, "PJ you're my son. I love you. You know that"

PJ glared at him.

"I didn't say that you didn't love me. I said you loved Teddy more. I happen to know that while you got mad at me and Gabe for the whole losing Charlie at the park thing you didn't get mad at her or anything"

"That doesn't mean I love you less then I love Teddy. In case you haven't noticed your sister is a girl."

"You never got mad at her even when she was little," PJ said, "It was always "daddy loves you. Daddy doesn't want you to get hurt so you need to listen to daddy.

"Mom never got mad at her or nothing either."

Bob sat down with a sigh.

"It's because Teddy listens to reason. When YOU are told no you argue it. You always ask why. You don't take no for an answer. Teddy on the other hand does listen.

"Do you think it doesn't hurt me to see you and your brother hurting? Do you think it doesn't hurt me to see you and your brother upset? It kills me but I'm not going to advocate my responsibly as a father because you, Teddy, Gabe and Charlie mean too much to me. Your mother and I had a child before you named Annie-"

"Did she die or something," PJ asked.

"No. She didn't die. We loved her enough to chose to give her up for adoption because we were 14.

"We couldn't raise a child at that age. Hell we could hardly take care of ourselves at that age. We gave her to a family that lived about 3 hours from here. We closed the door and we let that family raise her. It was the hardest thing we ever had to do but we did it anyway because we love her and we are tough on you and Gabe because we love you kids."

"So why do you refuse to give me the money for the new car," PJ asked.

"Because I didn't have the money," Bob replied, "Simple math lesson.

"You can't give what you don't have. I didn't have the money so I couldn't give you the money. Also you need to understand that you are capable of earning the money."

"How about you not getting mad at me and Gabe anymore," PJ suggested.

"Do you have a better idea," Bob asked.

"You talk. We listen."

"I'll try it," Bob said, "But you have to listen not just zone out"
