The long, lanky, ferret smirked. The day had come! He would take his revenge upon Pyris, and take what belonged to him, Salamandastron!
Lord Pyris sat alone, his massive bulk hidden behind the training boulder.' Any sign of them yet, Tarn?' the muscular hare replied as he came from the mountain,' Not a bloomin' hair of scut tah be seen sah'. A sigh arose from the bemoth,'its been 4 seasons and not a hide or hare to be seen!' Swinging his giant ball and chain, he crumbled half the boulder with his powerful blow. Not phased, Tarn stepped in front of him.' a know sah we still need that.'his voice trailed off.' I am sorry, I just can't understand where or why they ran away.' The cheery hares voice piped in,'Ah no hard feelins', but I say is that the dinner bell? Can't be late sup can we?' Chuckling, the badger lord followed his friend forgetting his troubles as he opened the door.
Abbot Chafin was taking a stroll around his beloved abbey. It was a quiet spring morn, thinking about how wonderful life can be, he tripped on a pile of sticks strew about everywhere." That Vyse, when will he learn?" With a sigh, he began to pick them up. "Before he breaks every peace of wood in the woods, I'd better stop him. Vyse!! Oh Vyse!! Where is that otter?" He wondered. Soon, he found him over by the east wall." Vyse, what are you doing?" "Uh. nothing, father." Vyse, Vyse, Vyse. When will you stop and make it easy on yourself?"[Previously, Vyse had got a notion to attack the recorder, Brother Kain. His father, Rerem , had had to break the stick and hit him. For this his punishment was to do chores every day until the elders saw improvement. But every time he had run away to attack the walls again. Which in turn, prolonged his punishment] After a short lecture, Vyse suddenly shouted ,"Father watch out!!"As a giant pair of fangs came down on them.
