Changing The Past
Logan's POV
"Good-bye Rory." That was the last thing I said to her and that was three months ago. I haven't been the same since. I think about her all the time. I wonder does she still think of me.
Rory's POV
"Good-bye Rory." That was the last thing he said to me. I can't believe that it was three months ago. My life hasn't been the same since. He is always on my mind. No matter where I go or what I do everything makes me think of him. I wonder does he feel the same. Does he still think about me?
They both were hurting everyone that knew the two could see it, but neither of them wanted to admit they had made a mistake. Rory's writing suffered. It had lost its spark, but her articles were still good. Logan threw himself into his work. His company in California didn't work out so he went back to work for his dad.
He had read a bunch of Rory's articles and he could tell that her spark was gone. It made him feel worse to know that he was most likely the reason for her losing his spark. He had to see her. He had to make things right.
Logan looked up the Obama campaign scheduled on his computer to see where they were next. When he found out where they were headed next, he told his dad that he was going to get a big scoop for the HPG papers and his dad for once agreed.
Logan made the arrangements and then pulled out his phone to make a call. He knew that to get Rory back he needed one person's help. He made the decision to call and set up a meeting.
"Hello."
"Hey, this is Logan. I know I am probably the last person you want to see or hell even hear from. But I want to make things right with her. Can we meet somewhere and talk?"
"She hasn't been the same Logan. She is hurt bad. You broke her heart. She lost her spark. If you promise you want to make things right and this just isn't ploy to get her back and then crush her I will meet with you."
"I love her and I realize that every time I read her articles. I was wrong to say all or nothing. I want to put the spark back. I want to make her happy."
"Alright, I will meet you. But it is going to be on my terms."
"Okay. Where do you want to meet and when do you want to meet?"
"How about this afternoon at my work?"
"Alright, sounds great. Thanks."
"Your welcome and don't make me regret this."
Logan got ready for his meeting with the one person who could make of break his plan. He had to show her that he meant every word. He also knew she could not be bought, but he also knew that a small gift might work. He knew exactly what he would do. With his plan set he left and headed to Stars Hollow to get her approval.
