Rapture 1992
a young anthro lioness cub screamed as she ran through the damp and decayed halls of the partially flooded Sinclair deluxe while being chased by a splicer. She nearly tripped as the splicer insanely said that he didn't want to hurt her, but instead talk. However she knew he was lying.
The cub came to a stop by a moon pool used by the hulking diver suited men she'd seen wandering around the area. She gave a sigh of relief thinking she'd lost the splicer until it landed right behind her. She fell down with a shriek of fear. As the splicer approached the cub, it failed to see the water distort behind it.
The cub's face went from frightened to down right horrified as a bronze helmet rose out of the water followed by it's body. The diver pulled it's left fist back as the splicer raised its hook. The diver made a noise that seemed to get the splicer's attention before giving it an electrifying punch.
The cub watched as the diver walked past her toward the splicer as it recovered. This time the splicer was afraid begging for mercy as the diver revved it's drill up. The splicer gave an ear splitting scream as the drill pierced its body.
The cub shook as the diver turned towards her as its drill slowed. "are you alright little one?" it asked her as she stood up. Well that's what she heard. To anyone else it would have been a soft groan. The cub nodded as the diver held out his hand. The cub slowly and cautiously reached for his hand.
