Notes; This was written for a Willow/Oz ficathon challenge. The person that I was chosen to write for wanted this - Willow decides to go with Oz when he returns in Season 4 instead of going with Tara, and how this would affect the Season 6 timeline (essentially replacing Tara with Oz and rewriting the end of Season 6). This is short, as it is just the prologue. The next chapter will take place 1 and a 1/2 years later during Season 6.

Disclaimer; Joss is God. I own nothing.

Feedback; Please do. I'd like to know what you all think.

"You awake?" Willow heard a voice ask, stirring her from her sleep.

She rolled onto her side, and opened her eyes slightly. The sight in front of her, brought the largest smile to her face.

"Pancakes?" Oz asked, holding up a plate with two large pancakes dripping with maple syrup.

"Hmm, yes, please," she said, sitting up in bed. "You made pancakes?"

"Yeah, I used the invisible stove to cook them."

Oz held up the bag that he was holding in his other hand, it said, 'Charlie's' on it which was a popular restaurant just off campus.

"Do I still get bonus points?" Oz asked, lifting his eyebrows.

Willow giggled, as she swallowed a piece of her pancakes. "Uh huh," she said. "A lot of bonus points."

Oz stood up and grabbed his coat off the chair in the dorm room that Willow shared with Buffy.

"You're leaving?" she asked.

"Gotta practise with the band. Eat your pancakes. I'll see you later," he leaned over and kissed her on the forehead.

"I love you," he whispered.

"And I love you," Willow said, smiling as she watched him go.

She couldn't believe how messed up things were between them just a few months ago. She was angry and hurt when he left her all of a sudden, and ecstatic when he returned with his powers under control. Willow definitely felt bad for what she had put Tara through, but she knew that there was only one person in her heart - Oz. He was her first boy friend, her first love, and, even if she never admitted to anyone but herself, he was her first kiss. Their time apart made them better people and better suited for each other. After everything both of them had been through, they could still rely on each other and fit together so perfectly. Whenever Oz would hold her, she never felt more complete and at peace with herself.

Their bond was stronger now that they had worked through everything that happened earlier this year.

Now, Willow felt invincible, like nothing could ever tear them apart.

She didn't know just how wrong she was.
