Let's Go Back To The Start

*Flashback Starts*

Chad Dylan Cooper was driving his girlfriend Sonny Monroe home after work one night. It was raining heavily and her mother wouldn't finish work till late, and he refused for her to walk home in the cold rain all alone. He looked over at Sonny and smiled lovingly. She had that effect on him. He had dated a lot of girls in the past, but he had never been serious about one of them. Sonny changed that. It was like he couldn't live without her. She was his whole world, even if she didn't realise it. She didn't think much of herself, but Chad was always telling her how she was the most beautiful thing in the world to him. The only person he had ever cared about over than himself. His parents were always always away on trips to Europe, So he never saw them often. When he was with Sonny, he didn't feel so lonely.

He noticed she was shivering, so he handed her his jacket to wear. He didn't want her to be cold.

As she undid her seatbelt and started to slip on the jacket, Chad started having trouble seeing the road before him. Before he could stop it happening, The car lost control and smashed into a wall. Everything went black...

*Flashback Ends*

"I lost her that day. I lost the only person that ever mattered to me"

7 months later, Chad was sitting in his psychiatrist's room, head in his hands to stop her from seeing the tears in his eyes. Everything had gone downhill ever since the accident. The doctors said that if Sonny had been wearing her seatbelt, she would have survived the crash. Naturally, Chad blamed himself for her death. He believed that if he hadn't given her his jacket, She wouldn't have took off her seatbelt to put it on. After months of depression, Condor Studios had him referred to a psychiatrist to see if it would help him get over losing her.

Chad had tried taking his life numerous times, but he was always found and admitted to hospital before death came. He just wanted to be with her forever, To see her face smiling at him once again. Was that too much to ask?

He wasn't giving up. He needed her. She had made him a better person. Before Sonny, He had been another sulky, egotistical teenage celebrity. She changed him for the better. Now he was stuck back at square one.

After leaving the psychiatrist, Chad went back to his apartment in the city. He grabbed a piece of paper and started writing a note. He then went into the bathroom and locked the door and window. No-one would find him this time.

---

Chad Dylan Cooper was found dead in his apartment in the early hours of the morning on 23rd July 2009. He had suffered from an overdose, and a note was found on his kitchen counter.

The note read-

I need her.

I can't live without her.

Now nothing will ever separate us again.

- Chad

Good? Bad?

I think it could have been written better, personally.

I got my inspiration for this story from the song "The Scientist" by Coldplay.

Amazing song. I seriously recommend it
