My hips swayed with the beat of the music as my hands rested around his neck, and his around my waist.

I looked into his eyes... the bright green eyes that had caught my attention the first time I had seen him in person. I had seen his picture in books, and I didn't think that eyes could really be so bright and pure...

Down to the earth I fell
With dripping wings
Heavy things won't fly
And the sky might catch on fire
And burn the axis of the world
That's why I prefer a sunless sky
To the glittering and stinging in my eyes

I smiled slightly as our gaze met. We were dancing as a dare from my brother and his girlfriend. They seem to think we like each other... but we don't. We're just friends. Or maybe we're not. Maybe I'm just his best friends little sister. Maybe I'll always be too young for him...

"What do you think of me?" I asked him softly.

"What do you mean?" He looked bewildered.

I sighed. "When you hear 'Ginny' or 'Ginny Weasley', do you think 'friend's sister'?"

He looked deep into my honey brown eyes. "Why would I think that?"

I stared at his face and tried to read his expression. To my utter amazement, it showed confusion. Sorta like... I was being... foolish.

"Because... well..." I stuttered, my face turning a deep shade of magenta.

"Ginny," He reached over and stroked my face. "I would never think of you as Ron's sister. Well... I mean, you are, but you're also so much more than that."

Gleaming in the dark sea

"R-really?"

"Of course," He said it like it was the most obvious thing in the world. As we gazed into each other's eyes, I mouthed the next part of the song.

He grinned at me. "I really like you Ginny,"

I smiled slightly. "Really?"

He nodded. "I think I even might be in love with you."

Everything is waves and stars
The universe is resting in my arms

"I think I'm in love with you too..."

He leaned forward and kissed my lips lightly. I kissed him back, and realized too late that we were the only one's on the dance floor.
