I don't own DS9 (duh) I just like to play with it

Return to Me

Julian's POV

Jadzia walked through the doorway of Quarks.

She looked slightly uncomfortable in the red leather dress, but seemed to be managing.

She made eye contact with him, for a only second and they both looked away.

Suddenly he felt a slight twinge of guilt.

You're letting her go.

A voice came from the back of his mind.

She was never mine to begin with. He thought to him self

But you still love her.

He was of course immediately repulsed by the thought.

He couldn't be thinking this, not now. Not during her wedding.

He pushed all thoughts to the back of his mind and began to concentrate on the ceremony.

But as it neared the end, his thoughts began swirling with simply random thingss.

Why was I so stupid?

Why does she do this to me?

Why do I do this to her

Why is she so beautiful?

How is it one person can make my day just by smiling at me?

Why does she have to be Worf's?

He took a deep breath and tried once again to suppress his thoughts.

He looked over at Miles who had a gleam in his eye and was getting his club ready.

Julian, now distracted, readied his club too.

He was going to kill Worf.

As he began to think more and more on this subject, one more thought came floating up.

Why are you letting some who you've sweated, bleed, burned, suffered, and almost died for simply walk away?

But Julian smiled as he answered his own question.

Because I love her.

Jadzia's POV

She walked through the doors almost stumbling in her boots, she felt extremely uncomfortable at first in her leather dress.

But that feeling was soon forgotten, as she was overwhelmed with feelings of love, and excitement.

And she had to admit she was a touch nervous, but only a bit.

She looked over at Julian, a slightly crooked smile pasted on his face.

She quickly looked down smiling, her cheeks burning.

As she walked up the small staircase, she stole one last glance at him.

He was frowning.

She felt as if maybe just maybe she could understand why.

He had chased after her so long.

He had told her himself that he was no longer interested in that way.

Though she had to admit she never completely believed him,

He had chased after her for so long, and she had rejected him at almost every turn.

Not that she hadn't enjoyed it.

In fact, She knew that if it hadn't been for Worf it would have been Julian.

Forgive me

She thought as her new husband passionately kissed her. Who don't get me wrong, she irrevocably and unconditionally loved.
