"What are you trying to prove? That everyone is as sick and twisted as you," Batman says trying to escape out from the Joker's hold. The more Batman struggled, the tighter the Joker held on.
"Because if that's what you're trying to prove, then you know that you're wrong. These people would never sink down to your level," Batman says.
"Oh, but that's where you're wronguh. Yuh see, last nightuh, I was watching the season finale of 'the vampire diaries' season two, and-uh Klaus had managed to get Stefan to join the darkuh side," The Joker said followed by a flicker of his tongue.`
"No, but you see he only joined Klaus because he wanted to save his brother Damon. If Damon hadn't gotten bit by Tyler, then none of this would have happened," Batman says with a big sigh.
It takes both of them a couple seconds to realize what they had just confessed to each other. No one was supposed to know that they secretly watched a teenage vampire show.
"Yuh watch it too?" The Joker asked completely shocked. Batman just nods his head. Both of them forgot that they were supposed to be fighting each other.
"Well I guess it's timeuh for the serious question. Team Stefan or Damon?" The Joker asks. It was the only time Batman had ever heard the Joker's voice sound serious.
"I know being a hero and all I should be team Stefan. But ever since Damon told Elena he loved her for the first time, I realized that Damon was my favorite. Though there are a few things I would change about him. Like the fact he won't just snatch Elena up for good. They are clearly meant for each other. whose team are you on?" Batman asks raising his eyebrows (not that anyone could see with his mask on).
"Oh I'm defiantly team Damonuh. But there are a few things thatuh I would change about him. Like the fact that he's always distracted withuh his loveuh for Elena. And the fact he stopped killing people because of her. You can never letuh woman distract you fromuh killing people. It's just wrong," The Joker says followed by a big sigh.
A couple seconds pass of silence.
"Ya know thatuh tonight they are playing rerun's ofuh season 2. We could uh always break into someone's houseuh and watch it. It's starting in ten minutes," The Joker offers.
"You know I usually would be against that, but I need a break. Who's house were you thinking of?" Batman asks.
"I was thinking of Dent's," The joker says with a giggle. The Joker releases Batman and helps him up. Linking arms, Batman and The Joker start to skip away when an explosion sound interrupts them. They both turn around to see that one of the two boats had exploded.
"Whatda tell ya. I'm always right in the end," says the Joker with a high screech giggle. Shrugging, the Joker and Batman make their way to Harvey Dent's house.
