A mighty warrior of black and red
Countless fallen on the tip of his sword
Without a glance he cuts them dead
Yet he is brought down by a single word
His heart made stone by pain long passed
Much like the blond haired ghost
Together their loneliness was to last
But together they became close
Undone is all he grew to know
With a twisted smile and name
Pain strikes unlike any foe
Though he doesn't utter blame
A life saved at the cost of love
No longer fun and games
A kiss of death from up above
Blood is now all that remains
This simper hides cool hatred
No need for this to be feign
The blue eyes have been cheated
And so they cannot forgive Kurogane
A/N: Take a moment to let the words sink in...Ok, anyone who has read up to volume 17 would know what i am rattling on about...or are just more confused so i'll explain :D but this will be a huge spolier for anyone who hasn't read that far. This is about the meaning of fai saying Morning kurogane when he wakes up from being turned into a vampire. Despite the cheerful conotations that go with saying goodmorning and the smile that fai has when he says it (this is my sort of understanding of what it meant), he does not mean it in a good way. I think it means he's angry and will not forgive or thank kurogane from saving him, he wanted to die, he was "cheated" out of death. Moreover, though i don't know how long it will last, i think fai has sort of ended thier friendship by calling him by his normal name instead of a fermilliar nickname. It's so sad that this is what it has come to because as fai so rightly puts it "If i do forgive him, i'll be even closer to him" (fangirls of the world heave a unanomus mornful sigh "you mean they could be closer, this is so not fair!"). It is also about kurogane's sadness at having it come to this. He wanted fai to live so badly even though he knew it was selfish. Anyway please review XD
