So, this is the "alternate ending" to Journey's end. Where Donna died(I know, I'm sad too) and there was no Meta-crisis Doctor. Don't ask me how they got out of there alive, just… Go with the story. Also, review what you think I should do. Keep the 10th Doctor, or somehow work out a way for him to regenerate. Anyways, here's the story!
She held the Doctor in her arms. He cried for the first time in a long while.
"It's my fault." He choked out.
"No it's not. It's not anybody's fault." Said Rose, rubbing his back. It had been a VERY tough day. They had just dropped off her mum and dad in Pete's World, and after that the Doctor broke down, feeling so guilty about Donna.
"I should have grabbed her out of there. I should have-"
"Stop it." Rose interrupted. "You can't blame yourself for what happened to her."
"I've got to tell her mother and her grandfather. But how do I tell them? It will kill Wilfred."
"Do you want me to do it?" Rose asked, she didn't really want to but she would do anything for the Doctor.
"No. No, I can't have you do that. It's not fair." He took a deep breath and released himself from her grip.
"I'll do it." He pressed a few buttons on the Console, and the TARDIS started whirring.
"Do you want me to come with you?" Rose asked.
"No. I've got to do this on my own." He walked out of the TARDIS. Rose looked after him.
"Will he be alright?" She asked, as soon as the Doctor left. "He's always alright." The TARDIS said. "I know." Said Rose regretfully. "That's what worries me."
EXTREMELY short chapter. Sorry about that! So, what do you think? Your guys reviews keep more stories coming, which gives me more reviews, which gives YOU more stories! See? It all works out. BTW, That last line, I have ALWAYS wanted Rose to say that. Now I'm happy! :D
