She would never tell anyone–she promised herself not to–but there is still one thing about Roy Mustang she found particularly amusing…He had height issues. Most people wouldn't believe her if she told them. Looking at how he constantly teases young Edward about his height, it just wouldn't make sense to anyone else.

But it did to her. Of course, not many other people grew up with him. She still remembers, quite vividly, when they were younger. She had remarked about finding it funny that even though he was significantly older than she, the difference in height wouldn't reveal that fact to anyone. She had to laugh at his furious reaction and weak come-backs.

She always knew he and Edward were more alike than either of them would dare to admit. Riza saw the similarities often, but didn't mention them to anyone. Both Edward and Roy would simply deny it. She once tried asking Roy why he teased Edward so much, when he too is short. His reaction didn't change much from the first time she brought it up. But that was okay; she could ask him things like that and he wouldn't stay mad at her. They both knew he couldn't.

She was well aware that she had plenty of facts to back her case up…Just look at Hughes, for one. He and Roy are the same age and yet Roy is much shorter. You could even look at her; she is younger than Roy, but almost as tall as him. She could very well convince him to accept that he is short…But she secretly thinks it's more fun not to.
