The War

Chapter 1: The Arrival
As Sesshoumaru Taishou, Kagome Higurashi, Rin Taishou, Shippou Higurashi, Kouga, and Ayame were walking down the street of central New York City, parents stood in front of their children or held their children in their arms. A courageous teenager stepped up and hissed something at them.
"Just ignore them, we are mutants. Calling us muties is a form of racism. That means they think mutants have their own race." Said Rin as Sesshoumaru muttered things under his breath.
Trying to calm Sesshoumaru down, Kagome whispered, "Lord Kage of the Northern Lands and a Lady of the Southern Lands are at Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters," in Sesshoumaru's ear.
The rest of the walk was in complete and total silence as the group walked to the train station that could take them to the Salem region of Upstate New York. On the train ride, everyone moved to a different car.
When they arrived at the School, an 18 year old that was in a 4th class Youkai came out to greet them. Sesshoumaru lowly bowed and everyone else followed suit. The child opened his giant black wings and growled, his eyes turning red.
"Inu youkai, do not bow to me ever again. I am not a lord anymore, my name is Kage Carson. I am who I am, a fire inu and a fire kitsune fourth class youkai, and a mutant." Kage said as he grabbed Sesshoumaru's neck and lifted him up a foot.
A female youkai with fire red hair and eyes that looked like fire came out and tilted her neck to one side, showing Kage his mark (no, they haven't mated yet -.-;;). Kage dropped Sesshoumaru, earning him a string of curses.
"I don't think Professor Xavier wants you to kill the new students. The blasted Cure will kill them, or take their powers away. Don't waste your energy on a bad tempered youkai like him." Mary Jane Watson said to her boyfriend, Kage.
Logan, Oroyo, Angel, Hank, Kitty Pryde, Scott, Charles, Jean and Rogue stepped out of Xavier's School and looked at Sesshoumaru, Kagome, Rin and Shippou with questioning eyes. Kouga and Ayame yelped at Kage's show of power and ran off, frightened. Logan laughed while he looked at the scared youkai.
"How can they stand and fight Magneto if they're scared by Kage's powers, mine are definitely worse, trust me." Logan said in his gruff tone as he stood by Kage.
Charles Xavier retreated back into the school and everyone else followed. Kage stood at the back and kept a close eye on Sesshoumaru. Professor Xavier led everyone into his classroom, but the X-Men and Kage stood watch outside of the classroom. The X-Men were watching for Mystique and Kage was sniffing for unfamiliar scents, or scents that were a bit different.
