BloodyCrystal: Hey! I've decided to do a bunch of 150-word character introspections, simply because my younger sister inspired me. So, thanks to her, I'm doing characters from here and talking about them. I'm doing several others for different areas, so if you like these, please feel free to drop me a line/review, and check out my others. Oh, and don't forget enjoying to guess which character is being talked about (although I really don't think it's that hard).
This first one is a bit different from normal drabbles, seeing as I used two character POVs.
Disclaimer: I don't own Saiyuki or anything related to it.
Mother
She always acted happy, but it was hard, knowing that woman hated her. Her older brother loved Raisetsunyo, and always promised to free her. It was such a strong bond, and one that she had never known. After all, her mother hated her.
Jien was well loved, pampered by their mother. But he was treated horribly, no matter what he tried to do. Beaten, scratched, neglected, ignored. Even the flowers he brought seemed to increase her pain, ripped from his hands and shredded. It was painful, too much so, looking at her with Jien, and knowing that he was despised.
True, she didn't really care for that woman, but a little love could change all that! But all she cared for was Father, and she was willing to sacrifice the world for him. How could she compete?
How could he compete with Jien, her real son?
"Mother, I love you!"
