The Author and Stan: The Mystery that started it all.
Hi I have a twin brother. He loves to take notes of his surroundings.
His name is Stan Pines.
I'm Mr Mystery to my visitors but my real name is Stanley.
What Dipper and Mabel don't know is why I kept changing my ID...
It all started 30 years ago, just after we moved to Gravity Falls...
"This place will be a great place to live" I said as I pointed at the tattered old house.
"That place?! Shouldn't we choice somewhere else?" Stan asked.
"We'll get it fixed up in no time" I reassured him.
He nodded and smiled nervously.
Then we started to refurbish the place with paint and a satellite dish.
One day when we were watching TV, we heard talking which sounded like arguing.
So Stan went to open the door but he didn't see anything and closed it up again.
More time past, Stan studied the paranormal more as McGucket and I helped him with his research.
Then one day, He decided to build a portal which I helped him build.
"This machine is change everything. Bill Cipher or someone else is looking for me and I have to hide. Hold on to the rope, men and DON'T. LET. GO!" Stan said, in a strict voice.
"We won't. I promise" I said as he tied the rope to his waist and went inside the portal -this was after he'd faked his own death-.
The portal's zero gravity was so strong it pulled the rope from our hands and we were forced to turn off the machine.
I had lost my brother and as I did everything in my power to get him back, it lead to accidents which forced me to change my identity.
But then he reappeared out of the portal, a different man.
I AM THE TWINS' GRANDAD.
This little one-shot I just came up with is to show the theory I came up with about the Stan we thought we knew actually being called Stanley and the author being the REAL Stan everyone thought had died! The 'Grunckle Stan' being their Granddad was not my idea! Someone on tumblr came up with it which made me realize the possibility of it because STAN IS BASED ON ALEX HIRCH'S GRANDPA!
